The Be interACTIVE project undertakes a series of strategic activities to dismantle the barriers hindering girls’ participation in sports. A key initiative involves conducting extensive research to understand the unique challenges faced by girls, particularly concerning the menstrual cycle’s impact on physical activity. This research forms the foundation for developing a comprehensive handbook that offers practical solutions and guidance for educators and coaches.

Another significant activity is the awareness-raising campaign, which spans across partner countries. This campaign aims to educate communities about the importance of inclusive sports environments and the specific needs of female athletes. By engaging stakeholders through workshops and seminars, the project fosters a supportive network dedicated to promoting gender equality in sports.

Additionally, the project hosts a series of events, including a kick-off meeting and a final showcase, to bring together all stakeholders. These events serve as platforms for sharing insights, discussing progress, and celebrating achievements. Continuous monitoring and evaluation ensure that the project’s activities are aligned with its objectives and effectively address the identified challenges.

Outcomes of Be interACTIVE
