CNBA's Role in Erasmus+ Sport
The City of Niš Basketball Association (CNBA) is actively engaged in Erasmus+ Sport projects, playing pivotal roles as both coordinator and partner. Our initiatives focus on fostering inclusion, promoting gender equality, and ensuring sports are accessible to all. Through collaborative partnerships, we aim to create a positive impact in the sports community across Europe.

SupPORT - Support in Sport Plus
ROLE: Coordinator
SupPORT - Support in Sport Plus
SupPORT addresses Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD) in young children aged 5-10 engaged in sports. The project develops an e-learning platform and educational materials to help sports professionals recognize and support children with coordination challenges. Through awareness campaigns and stakeholder mapping, SupPORT builds capacity for creating inclusive sports environments where all children can participate fully and confidently.

GITG - Get in the Game

Get in the Game tackles the gender gap in youth sports, where only 6% of young women aged 15-24 engage regularly in physical activity compared to 12% of young males. The project promotes access to team sports through schools, develops a Training Toolkit for teachers and trainers, and organizes awareness campaigns. GITG empowers young girls to overcome barriers and take a protagonist role in traditionally male-dominated sports.

IncDisBas Inclusion of Disabled People Through Basketball
IncDisBas builds bridges for people with disabilities to integrate into communities through wheelchair basketball. The project increases participation, improves health and wellbeing, and creates role models who inspire others. Activities include introducing wheelchair basketball knowledge, forming new teams, exchanging good practices, and building international cooperation networks that promote inclusion and equal opportunities in sport.

SPEAK - Sports in a Union of Equality
Role: Partner
SPEAK - Sports in a Union of Equality
SPEAK eradicates stigmatization of the LGBTIQ community in sports by promoting EU values of freedom and equality. The project creates a comprehensive Handbook distributed to sport clubs, organizes LGBTIQ-friendly sport events, and establishes a European Network of inclusive organizations. SPEAK uses sport as a tool to prevent discrimination and hate crime, creating safe spaces where everyone can participate regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.
